I also replaced the fixed choke barrel with a 26” Steel Shot RemChoke barrel (2-3/4”/3” shells) (sells for $260 @ Cabelas), and the wood stock/forend with a Remington Synthetic Stock in Advantage Wetlands Camo (sells for $90 @ Cabelas). No rust! A few scratches on receiver and deer barrel. Steel Shot barrel looks new.
