My best day yet 9 rats and my uncle got 5 ... I had atleast 10 sprung toilet sets but awesome day for me and my uncle

Yea rats are way down from 18 -20$ highs of 2 years ago...

Fur prices are way down this year Male mink 8 tops , rats 10 tops reds 35 , yote 25-30 for good colors coons 6-9 ... alot of unsold fur in auction houses is dragging market down with ranchers selling mink to get rid of ...these are the years for the die hards...coyote hides I flesh and put up on stretchers for auction

Well tomorrow water trapping opens for me and I'm ready to start catching rats and beavers and mink even though there only worth 8$ what a shame but it helps muskrats ... good luck fellas and lay some steel

I killed a deer this morning while checking traps you just never know when you will see one -
Deer down while on trap line makes for a good day even with empty traps .. re made everything with peat moss and lured now I'm ready for this winter trapping so be it ...

Doe down good eater shot it while checking traps on my back 30.. 70 yard shot thru the maples ..found white hair and minimal specks of blood then 50 yards away there it layed .. my uncle never thought it would be laying dead that close .. very happy man I am for this deer today

Ever since I started using them it's been 1 shot 1 kill the accuracy is one of if not the best I think -
Found my doe I thought I missed yesterday 10 yards from were I stopped ...no blood any were yesterday for 50 yds and today when j found her no blood even were she layed but it's been 25° here in middlesex so she looks good still taking it home to get cleaned up ... you guys think she is still good ?

Got called home early from hunting lease by landlord saying he shot my coyote in the trap I get home and he shot it with a 30-06 and now it's ruined with a hockey puck hole in the neck ..

Possums possums and more possums lately I killed atleast 25 last year jeesh I need some farmland to trap instead of the woods around me I've been trapping ... but getting some blind sets out ahead of this storm tonight so maybe I can get a fox since the one I caught this year was mange and dead when I found him .. we are supposed to get an inch here it would be good for me I like seeing what new routes these canines are running around me

I'm hunting until Sunday Monday and then it's 6:00am long line to work and then the other half on the way home and water opens the 25th I can't wait to catch some rats and beaver and mink ....
