Yea rats will be worth gold if all stays but ny usually changes quickly so guess we will see but canine trappers are saying not good year so I'm guessing any pelts are gonna be worth a good dollar put up rite ...

Got out set runs and found some good mink sign set some up but tomorrow I'll set up for him more with rat carcass once I get a couple hopefully my swamps are feed bed and toilet swamps not many runs got out a measly 12 sets

Had a boulder handy at set so rolled it on top but usually use leaves and logs to cover ..

Depends what I got to work with I put it were a natural backing keeps them working front side and got a coon carcass with deer meat under a boulder with area in front they can work at with two traps offset.. coyote danced on it last nite trap froze but re bedded and let him try it again ... now with snow I can set trails but it was hard to tell without snow .. how do u set your up

Understand the work thing it's a love hate thing ... canines are starting to work sets looking for food trash pile sets been connecting lately but good luck to you up early tomorrow to beat everyone to set up a the swamps tomorrow for rats

This weather has made ice and snow covering it so now not toilet sets feed beds just runs and channels not a good start need a warm up to get rid of this ice .... either way good luck to all you water trappers out there

Farmers got the combine out cutting this corn last corn in the area hopefully he kicks deer my way fingers crossed

Awesome recipe had to share season tenderloin with you choice of seasonings then start to wrap from top and use tooth pick to hold and overlap each piece like a mummy and cook on a slotted pan to catch drippings for 25 30 mins on 350-375 if you like your meat rare like I do or a little longer for well done ... optional use broiler for five to ten extra minutes to crisp up bacon ...
