  1. heres a rrecap of our week at the cabins... Tuesday morning my buddy shot a 150 inch giant. high shoulder shot, we never found him unfortuantely. he was sick, literally. The next day I missed about a 120 8. he was chasing and i rushed my shot. Saturday morning another buddy hit a giant 12 pointer. We tracked for 2 miles in and out of private property with the park police helping us, never found him. We saw over 20 different bucks and took two does. heartbreaking week with he three missed bucks. we will be back the 11th-18th
  2. Buddy shot a giant 130 inch ten point. Unfortunately we never found him. Looked all day and the next morning. Such a shame my buddy is having a really hard time coping with it. For me just a few does and small bucks
  3. I'll be in the C cabins all week this week so hopefully i get a crack at him.
  4. Nope, he was bumping a doe about 70 yards out.
  5. 7 point with a 3 inch droptine on the west side this morning along with 5 doe and a spike. Also saw one of the biggest toms ive ever seen lol
  6. beers always cold at our cabin! ...and lots of it.
  7. im headed down there from Monday to Sunday this week. C cabins, i forgot which cabin. We always do pretty well, Been seeing a lot of small bucks and an uncountable number of does. Saw one brute cross the road on the east side down near Dishmill creek.
  8. hunted there the past two mornings...three small bucks and 12 doe. Plenty of scrapes, im sure it'll get hit hard next week that's when most of the cabin goers are there, including myself
  9. This morning at about 8 i had a doe come through...two minutes later a small 4 came in her footsteps grunting non stop. About 3 minutes later a big 8 came busting through the exact same trail grunting as well. The crazy thing is the doe went into a field, did two weird circles with like a five foot radius and trotted off. These bucks did the exact same thing. When people say bucks follow does footstep for footstep, im a believer now. And i have no idea why i didnt shoo the big 8 so dont ask me im still trying to figure it out myself lol
  10. Must be one of the only men in the world to rock a primos hunting hat in a rock band. Oh well lol !
  11. Passed on this joker under my stand. Hung around all night
  12. The tree is part of a cluster of three, no way a climber can get in there. Theres farm animals around for like a mile. My guess is either a bear or a buck lol If its a buck, hopefully ill be posting a pic soon!
  13. No its in a thick transition between clover and corn
  14. Yeah I figured it was I just needed second thoughts because it's such a massive tree lol. This property is loaded with rubs
  15. I'm not sure, is this a rub? I can't figure it out lol
  16. It's about a third of a mile west of that trailer park Paula on the south side of the road
  17. A few days ago my buddy and u got permission on a new plot of land. It'd basically 23 acres of standing corn and 4 acres of really thick hardwoods. We scouted it and kicked up five doe and a big buck that was bedded on the edge of the corn. This is clearly a travel area for the deer. My question, I do not think this corn will be cut and will stay standing. How will that affect things? There's a very limited area to hang stands
  18. Got permission on a new plot on chili Riga Rd. Checked it out today, didn't hunt, had a 130 9 point walk 20 yards from me at 10 am. Of course, my bow was sitting comfortably in my truck. I know where I'll be tomorrow
  19. Hey guys. Just curious, is there any way to search somebodys property and view like an arial map by someones name?
