sounds good guys I will let you know. I believe squirrel starts in November upstate if I am not mistaken. And I would love to get into squirrel hunting with an air rifle. Looks like you might be the guy to talk to. I was speaking with greybeard last night and he was telling me squirrel is amazing to eat! So I gotta try it! What's a good beginner air rifle?

Hey everyone I have recently met up with a couple guys from huntingny.com First off I have to give thanks to the guys who put this site together. I like many other guys have an obsession for hunting, and the great outdoors. I have plenty of friends however hunting is a funny thing. Not everyone is into it. There really isn't a grey line when it comes to harvesting. You are either a hunter or a sheep! Long story short none of my friends or family members are into hunting. So with the help of this wonderful site I have been able to get connected with a bunch of great guys interested in expanding the types of game they hunt as well as meeting other guys looking to do the same! There really are no objections or fees to joining just pm me and I will respond with the next upcoming hunt we plan. Tired of going hunting alone? Long car rides that bore the hell out of you? It is a hunting club for guys that have tons of friends that have absolutely no interest in hunting! I am 30 years old but there is no age range for this club we started. Its basically just a bunch of guys with a passion for hunting. We plan waterfowl hunts, squirrel, deer, crow etc any and all kinds of hunting. Fishing too! It is an outdoorsman club for guys that have a passion for the great outdoors. We all pay outrageous taxes to live here and since it is a shame that most people don't take advantage of our natural surroundings we try and make up for it! We have a waterfowl hunt at timber point this weekend! If you are interested in meeting up its totally free. Just bring some decoys or extra shot and we all chip in to help each other out. If you don't have anything and still want to come meet up don't sweat it its all for the hunt!!!

sweet thanks man what time do you think I should get there on sat in order to beat the crowd? I drove by cold spring harbor and it looked like a ton of snow geese if that's even possible!? No way it was 2 dozen swans had to be snow gizzards

from the research I have done timber point is legal to hunt. I will confirm this with the dec Monday as I plan to go on a hunt with a few friends from huntingny.com next weekend. We are aiming to bag our first Canadian geese! Wish me luck!

yea well I fell in love with the dna dream season by pse purchased it fully set up in skullworks and I couldn't be happier!

OH MY GOD I cant waiiittt until the season begins! So exited! Everyone I know is upset that summer is ending except for me! Hunting season Is my fav time of the year! Trying to find a good waterfowl spot on long island to plug some geese. Good luck guys!

yea I hear you agross it is a very wealthy area I am sure its a rough place to hunt waterfowl. We are trying to find a place to go for geese and it is not easy. Must have been on the phone with the dec about 10 times and they are no help what so ever. Neither are the Suffolk county parks its crazy no one seems to know a damn thing about it!

Guys thank you so much! I am going to be purchasing the pse dream season dna with a #70 draw strength I plan on hunting deer and the bow shoots 350fps I am going for a carbon arrow. My draw length is 28. I will stop by the pro shop however the bow is much cheaper online. I would like to give them my business as the internet is killing there sales. I also want my children to be able to enjoy the use of a pro shop in the future! Thanks again guys hope this helps.
