  1. Hi Rick, welcome abourd.
  2. Was able to get out this AM for a couple of hours. Quiet/slow morning... though I heard a couple of grunts but didn't see anything. Seen a nice 8pt grazing in a field 25ft of the road on the way into work. Odd!
  3. Best day of the season by far. Best day in years to be honest. Three different bucks chasing does. Came to full draw twice but couldn't stop them. Pulled the card on trail cam and my 7pt is back. Gotta go though... lunch date with my daughter. Hunting 4A.... ill try an evening hunt this week.
  4. Remminton 870 w/ 2-3/4" 1oz rifled slugs Tradition Pursuit XLT. 50 Cal 245 gr Powerbelts 150gr whitehot powder Remmington 7400 30-06 165gr Noz partitions
  5. I'm curious to see data on daytime Buck activity related to AR zones. 4A 5R 5S bucks are still a bit nocturnal.
  6. I would have guessed 110 and 100. Nice work though put them both on the wall. I'd be proud of both of them.
  7. Thank God for the extra two weekends. I shot a good doe theon 10/8 and haven't seen much since. Was busted be one this morning getting into my stand. I'm off till gun opener. Good luck all.
  8. I think it's a different storey here in Eastern NY. I think I would welcome an AR here. I hunt 4A, 4J, 5S and 5R there just isn't enough sign out here. Tons of doe to few bucks. IDK frustrating season.
  9. Not much happening in 4A or 5S. Saw 8 on the ride home tonight all doe in groups of 2 or 3. Trail cams have gone dried.
  10. Hunted from 10am to 4pm... nothing. Plenty of deer in the fields on the way home.
  11. Respect takes place in the field.... after the fact do your best to take as much as you can. Hanging it is but a necessary part of it all. Enjoy it.

Damp and very foggy this morning. Quite strange actually. I don't recall ever walking to my stand in such fog. I was freaked out honestly. Didn't see anything either.
  13. Ants, Are you telling.me or asking if its the same.Buck? I don't know I haven't seen him yet. Only pictures of one 7 pt.
  14. I hunt around the Lake Lauderdale area. State land now but when I was hunting private land is was great. Lots of preaaure where am now and a few Vermont and Mass hunters.
  15. Makes sense! All my trail came went from all day to between 6pm to midnight. I only have one pic of the 7 pt at 4:20 am. It slowed down and I moved the cam, unfortunately it was where the scrapes are. Go figure.
  16. They are all on the edge, but not very far from cover either but not suspect bedding cover.
  17. There were licking branches on two of the three that I could notice. I don't know if I'm keen on messing with them directly v/s making a mock scrape close by. I'll be out there Friday. I'll relocate a camera and see what happens.
  18. Hey All, I was checking my trail cams last night and found 3 fresh scrapes. But the were all within 30 yards of each other (total) in kind of a circular motion or half moon shape. Anyone have an opinion on one buck.. two... I do have a good 7 seven walking around somewhere. I only have him on camera.
