Of all the deer I shot none have even remotely looked like a human, and of all the humans I have come across in the woods none have looked like deer, blaze orange or not these horrible incidents not accidents fall on the back of the person pulling the trigger period, know your target and beyond and where others in your hunting party are suppose to be, and I wear fully camo all the time, 30 years now and yet to have a problem plus it helps to find trespassers, I don't hunt state land, if I did would at least wear a hat

Very sad, the worst part is that all these cowards take their own lives, they don't suffer but all the family's , friends, and loved ones of the victims do. Prayers go out to all that are touched by this horrible crime

U would probley get a trespassing ticket , max fine $250, as long as all your tags are good, I am not a lawyer, that is what happened to me, told dec there were no posted signs, gave me a ticket then called the judge and asked him not to fine me had to pay sir charge $75.00, lesson learned. I was not caught in a park but on some land a collage owned, was an honest mistake

Always wondered if people would watch a real hunting show, fair chase hunting, does, smaller bucks being shot, real deer that the average hunter would likely shoot, I believe it would be a lot more about the hunt then the money shot on a monster deer, would sponsers jump on board, who knows, I believe the shows are about the fantasies of deer hunting, I would love to see a show about the average hunter, humm mabye a career change is in the future lol I wish

Omg now u can't even joke here, this place is getting tough, no high fences, no full camo, no ball and chain jokes, no swearing, well guess I will just have to go hunting first I have to go ask my ball and chain not lol. Happy hunting

If you had another person with you here is a little tip that may help u on your next one, this is what I do, on the hind legs cut between the bone and tendon half way down the back legs , both of them, find a strong sapling and stick it through the cuts you made in both legs, each of your take a side and off you go easy drag, no ropes, carts, ect. If you are alone do the same thing but tie a rope around each end of the stick step in between loop and off u go. Works like a charm for me atv also works nice lol

Funny everyone wants to get a deer, I took someone out and helped him get his first deer, then I handed him the knife and said now the work begins lol, funny how I ended up doing all the work oh well congrats Ps easier to drag them out by the horns, that's what the old timers would tell me lol

When I was a kid people hunted to feed there family's in most cases. Family is from deep in adk, it was a tradition, friends get together, hunt, tell stories ect u get the picture, it was looked down on to hunt in southern zone(easy pickings), things change, times sure have changed, it is sad that a lot of people are just thinking about things in inches, deer are challenging period, think that is what keeps a lot of us intrested, I try to keep it me vs ......... Whatever I am hunting, hopefully I can show my kids the tradition of hunting, the older I get the more it is about the hunt not just the kill or how big ect, wouldn't try to impose my two cents on anyone whatever my belief all I know is what hunting is and means to me and that's all that counts whatever it may be, never tell anyone how to raise their kids and don't tell anyone the way they should hunt
