  1. Just caught a glimpse of a big bodied deer about 70yds out Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  2. If she's on alert from human scent she's gonna duck. I would say get in there in a few days and take her out, but with the rut coming you might need her around. Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  3. I'm back up on the oak ridge. Mildly breezy. Scrapes were freshened overnight. Gonna set a cam on my way out. Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  4. Did some mid day scouting and found a fresh scrape line in the oaks. Came back with the climber. 8N Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  5. First morning sit. Super quiet so far. I've only heard maybe 185 shots[emoji1]. My bowsight pins were barely glowing when they began shooting Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  6. Just sighted in my new 4K pro yesterday and was able to put it to use on a nice yote tonight. 58gr v-max. Bang flop Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  7. This is also the season for Shaggy Manes. I seen a few buttons at a jobsite a few days ago Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  8. Gonna check my hen spots tomorrow. The only one I've found this year was about 2 weeks ago in my yard under a big locust Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  9. Hens are still a few weeks out. That looks to be a turkey tail fungi. Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk

  11. Well I can tell you that it is a species of Agaric with scales on the cap. I'm at my surgeon appointment so I don't have my books handy. There are many books and online resources, but I advise caution on using photographic identification without other testing such as spore prints. Agarics are tough and some can be deadly. There are a couple dozen other species that are easier to ID. I'd recommend starting with puffball, oyster, chanterelle, maitake, sulphur shelf, morel, shaggy mane and black trumpets. Good luck Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  12. Don't know off hand. Nothing that I've bothered with yet Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
  13. Orange slime mold Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk

  15. My grandfather by marriage (grandmothers husband) is a descendant of Manfred. I guess the love for being in the skies was carried along since he himself was a paratrooper in the Korean War. I agree that the documentary is well done. I'm pretty sure I've watched it before. Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
