  1. That's my ex girlfriends old house. Nice neighborhood and yes the fishing/ hunting around there is great. Along with the nearby state lands are thousands of acres of NYCDEP lands around the Cannonsville Reservoir about(15 minute drive). Deposit has plenty of small town pride. That house has a front row seat to the parade which starts at the school down the street. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  2. Good luck out there folks. It's off to work for me. I'll be out Saturday. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  3. I hunt mostly solo. I do hunt with family a handful of times each year for deer and turkeys. Hunting to me is about connecting with nature and learning my quarry so I do my best hunting solo, though I do enjoy being a part of someone else's successful hunt whether it be calling in a turkey or pushing a deer. 6. Possibly very young tinder polypore Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  7. Found some Hedgehogs, chanterelles and ash tree boletes. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  8. Those look prime. The ones I found were pretty well bugged out. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  9. Quick jaunt out back. Found these chickens and some fresh chanterelles. Going back this evening to harvest. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  10. Sharp ones. I've had luck with both. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  11. Yumm! 2 of my favorites. Yes that is a chicken and they grow anytime during the summer. Hens on the other hand are a fall fungi. Hens will fruit during September and October. You also found bi-color boletes and they're delicious! Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  12. Not oysters. Can't say offhand what it is. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  13. Not a hen. They friut in Sept. That looks more like a Berkeley's Polypore or a Black Staining Polypore. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
  14. I found but 1 small oyster this year and that was while turkey hunting. I don't target oysters per se, but they're always welcome in my fungi collecting bag. Check out the date on this screen shot of last years mushroom thread. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
