I hunt with outfitter called Mtn.view in portage. I've never seen woods like that before. The lease so much propriety from the loggers has permits for 100 stands. What's nice is the closest they will put u to another hunter it 1/4 of mile. My father 2 yrs ago got 245lb one. This yr we did real good. I got one 205lb and my father got one 465lb. I love it up there.

It all dependes where u hunt in Maine and how much property your guide has in Maine. If the outfitter has a lot of stands and lots of property. Hunting pressure will be very low. How big where the bear you got in Quebec

Saw this weekend in Myrtle Beach. What amazing movie best I've seen in a long time. audience was so silent at the end and people where clapping. I got a little pissed at the end that after all he did for this country that no one from the White House went to his funeral.

The fox ate one of chickens. The other is my bear skull from August. Now just waiting for the bear to be done. The deer is the first deer my 6yr old son helped me track. Best moment was the way his face lite up when brought it home for him. Priceless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Man a lot of people go to Canada bear hunting. When you can go to maine. I went in August. Our taxidermist told us if you can't freeze it. Put the hide in one garbage bag. Then put the bag in another bag. With lots of ice. It worked great. When folding it up make sure start with head and that is covered by the rest of hide. Need to be careful of the ears. Price wise you will be surprised. Mine was 5' bear I'm looking at $2500 my fathers was 6-7' bear so he's looking at $3500. So be ready. Good luck.

Ive been mostly just a bow hunter. Getting into 3d and paper shooting. Just trying to take lesson to get my form better. Has anyone used flying arrow in Carmel for lesson or anyone eles

I really thought mine tasted good. I kick myself for donating it. It had a lot a fat on it. But my dads bear had about 9" of fat on it.

Mine was from Maine also. My fathers bear was 464lbs so he is getting his a full mount.

Kurt has done few thing for me. He said if you don't plan on going on bear hunt again. Go with a full. He also said 200lbs is good size bear. Next to my dad's monster it will look like a cub lol. If I go for bears again it might not be for 3yrs. Since we are planing a trip out west.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just got back from my taxidermist Kurt Fox. I have to figure out what to do with my black bear. It's was 205 lbs. Its my first bear. So I'm thinking of getting a full mount. I'm going to put my first food plot in, hang my stands earlier this year, keep my cams up all year. Try to find property in PA and NJ for deer and bear.

To me if people want to use xbow why not. I think it might get older people back in the wood. Stay with it I've been bow hunting for awhile I still get the shacks. You should try practicing from tree stand. If ur having a problem.

My father got bear in maine this 464lbs didn't even make the book.
