I was wondering why they have these up north and not in the southern zone. Mostly 9a and 9f there are so many deer around here that towns do bait and shoots why not just extend or begin the seasons early around here?

I hunt both private and state land. Mostly private around the buffalo area. My family has property in 9k. One property away is 2500 acres of state land that no one hunts

So as it getting colder I need something to keep my hands warm. I was wondering what everyone prefers a pair of gloves or one of those hand warmer things like football players have. I saw online they have them for around 40 dollars which is what I'm looking to spend on either gloves or the handwarmer thing

If I'm not hunting my property I always wear at least a orange hat to my stand once in my stand I switch to a camo hat

I think a lot of it has to do with where people hunt. I have property in the southern tier where you could not see a deer for days and when you finally do and even get a chance at a shot you take it. Now I've hunted niagara county three times this bow season and while I'd still shoot a doe I could be more selective on the doe that I did take if given the opportunity

I shot a grey squirrel tonight with a judo point. The arrow went right through the squirrel and out the other side. I thought they where suppose to just cause blunt force trama to the animal

Nothing this morning. Heard people ran dogs through here the other day bow hunting. Most likely messed up the deer pattern. Is running dog on deer to bow hunt even legal?

I want to get in the woods tomorrow but I can't make it to my place in the southern tier. I'm looking at either the Alabama swamp ( Iroquois swamp) or hartland swamp. Anyone have any advice on either one?

Sitting in the rain since first light saw a deer stroll by out of range. Last night had a great night in the stand saw 6 or 7 big does not in range though. I pulled my card of my one trail cam and had my first buck on it. A small 4 point.
