For some reason this doe and her fawn have been walking up to me since spring like they are tame. Never saw a deer in the Catskills do that. Wgi are great for the money, until they break which is usually within the first year. I lost 2 in under a year and a half, just after the warranty wore off .

I've had 3 WGI camera's none lasted for more than a season or 2. they take decent photo's for the low price but they seem to be throw away's after a yr of use. I think I am switching to Moultries, I refuse to pay a lot as I have had 2 cameras and a tree stand stolen already.

I only have a few acres to work with and I use the groundhog max on my quad to do the plowing. I have to bring in the lime by the bag which gets costly. I have a half acre planted this yr hoping to get a little over an acre next yr in. I understand you should rotate the brassicas with the perennials every 2 years ? I am mostly looking to attract in October when I bow hunt as the rifle season is a crap shoot where I am. I am looking for advice as to what to plant in the spring as a cover crop, I think if I plant clover it will be browsed down to nothing as they are small plots.

I tried some food plots this year in my field. Lots of lime and rain and they grew like crazy. I hope the deer leave some for bow season.
