Mine does that too when hanging it higher than normal. Move it down to about 3 or 4' above the ground and try it, It should look fine.

Get an arm guard for bowhunting and strap it over your jacket sleeve. This also happened to me when I started bowhunting. I had to adjust the way I hold my bow twisting my arm a bit. never hit my arm or jacket now.

Did you own the land ? If not did you ask the land owner if he removed them ? I had the land owner remove a couple of ours on our lease. -

If you are using Scent Loc or similar ( as I do ) their directions state not to store clothes with any cover scents as it will decrease the effectiveness of the scent control.

Mixed emotions, Agree in areas of low density, but if shooting a spike makes for a memory and an enjoyable hunt it should be legal to do.

A friend of mine was hunting PA/NY border last year, he shot a nice buck with the bow and drug it down to a logging road and hid it, then went back to get some help and his quad. He came back and the deer was gone and there were truck tracks in the rd near where the deer was. He thinks someone was in a tree on his land watching him hide the deer.

Oct. 18, 7:38 p.m. EDT —Full Hunters' Moon: With the leaves falling and the deer fattened, it's now time to hunt. Since the fields have been reaped, hunters can ride over the stubble, and can more easily see the fox, as well as other animals, which can be caught for a thanksgiving banquet after the harvest.

You attach to a prussic knot and slide it up as you climb. still need to be strapped in to attach it the first time tho.
