Awesome what a way to get them out there in the woods . I can't wait to get my. 6yr old out . We have fun checking trail cams together !

Just spooked about 7 turkeys and one deer on the way in. A little windy but the should be out and about. The rain only stopped 1 1/2 ago . Good luck to all out there

Just fun to look/think back to first harvest ! After seeing all these youth hunt pics. Lets see what you got . Mine was a half a 4 pointer , just a crotch one one side , the othe was broke off . Got it with a rem 870 12 gage . Aprox 1986 .

That's awesome , happy kids. I can't wait to get mine in a tree stand. Being 4,6 yrs of age it's gonna be a little while.

Not a bad idea , I have thought about that for a ladder stand that I have near a field. Just let the deer get used to something up there!

Off subject , there are going to be so many wounded deer in crossbow areas this year. Because non bow hunters are going to try it and think you can kill a deer @60+ yrds . No penetration at long distance . & the prob won't put the time in and track like a bow hunter might .

I hear ya Skully , It was just a good spot I shot a nice 9pt there last year . The only place I had the deer pretty well patterned. I ******* on here rather than to the land owner. I didn't wana burn that bridge yet. ***** happends , Good luck in the woods

I think that some one else saw the large 150 class ten pt. and put the silver tongue to work on the owner . I still have to go down there and retrieve my 2 climbers I leave cable locked at the bottom of the trees

I have other land owners that I give meat to and have taught there kids how to shoot bow and gun. But this particular owner has always been stand off ish, so I just let it be that way. It worked well for almost ten years.

No yote problem at all and i would never bash a trapper. He just ********* his way in there. If he traps at all for them he is going to all niebors dogs and cats too ....

I know the home owner well enough . Very very wealthy people who didn't have much to say to a man in face paint and camo !I had offerd venison many times And the note was to call, that's when I got the bad news. In going to call her back today and mention that the "trapper/deer hunter" is going to prob get niebors cats and dogs also when trapping.

Bad end to my day in the woods . I got out to my truck to find a note from the home owner on my wind shield. Well to make a long story short. I Lost my favorite hunting spot in westchester tonight !!!!! I've been there 10 years with exclusive rights to hunt and never had a problem, this suxxxx . Evidently another hunter told the home owner that she had bad coyote problems. He offerd to trap them for her in exchange for my deer hunting spot . Hunter shouldn't do that to one another ....,wait till I find him!!!

This spot is wild 12" spike, then 1/2 hr later 6" spike and just now 45 min after last a unicorn ! Spike missing its lft side . No sign of the two shooter bucks I've seen from a far ! & zero doe's ... Odd morning so far

Ok back in a tree @ 6am. Took a break for duck hunting yesterday with my nephew. Now it's time! I pushed a few around on my way to the stand, should be early enough for things to settle down though B4 shooting light. Good luck to all

Just got home from work and ran down to back of my property . A little late but I'm in stand and set . I have lots of fat doe's on camera I'm just gonna hope to get a shot @ one without a little fawn. Good luck guys
