while we are on price per acre. Is 2800 yr for 180 acres good for broome county ? this is our first year and time doing it. So far killwes a very big 7 pt with bow, and a 4 and 6 with gun. There are 7 of us in on it so its like 400 each

first get a scope, second get away from the house, hunt where you can shoot in all directions. keep gun in your hands too

Sucks, another stupid thing NY state did ! I know it will never happen but wish they would bring back monday opener as it always was.Besides the fact they took the best bow hunting weekend from us forever. Just plain dumb. Anyone that was going to hunt first day would have been out on a monday anyway !

Dont think it matters where you sit with a buck that big. Dont need to do tricks to make it big, it is big, give the guy a break ,he can sit anywhere he wants !

we are in a shotgun area, would think that would help age class of bucks a little ?

we leased a piece of land about 10 miles from whiteney point last year after season. we put food plot in, got some decent bucks on camera. Was just wondering how the deer hunting is in general and for bigger bucks. We have been bowhunting it, see some deer but nothing real big yet, Is it a big buck area ? any info would be great .All new to us, we are from the cap district area
