  1. Yes sir. I was a member of QDMA for a few years. Read all the magazines. The QDMA folks do support good habitat development, but I still think the overarching goal is Antler size.
  2. I agree. In fact, I take my kids to Pennsylvania and tell them this is where we can legally do what is right as opposed to not being able to do what is right in NYS because it's illegal.
  3. I don't believe anyone has "praised" lawbreakers, but an opportunity to expose how DISTURBING the law is! Whats disturbing to me is I take my sweet 10 year old daughter to Pennsylvania and she LEGALLY kills a LEGAL deer and then I tell her iF she even thinks about doing it in NYS then its it's probably jail time for both her and me
  4. Whats disturbing is I take my sweet 10 year old daughter to Pennsylvania and she RIGHTLY kills a LEGAL deer and then I tell her i she even thinks about doing it in NYS then its jail time for her and me
  5. I gotttaaa feeeelin, Buffaloooos going to the Super Bowl! LOL
  6. Thow the red flag for what? To reverse the reversal?
  7. ...and you have probably always stopped for a full 3 seconds at a STOP sign...your whole life! The NYS youth hunting age laws are absurd...or should I say DISTRUBING! lol.
  8. LOL, no. I think Ryan is a decent coach. My contention is with silly pant creaming euphoric “BUZZ” that (b)ILLS fans always get when a hint of something positive happens and then BAM dreams always end up smashed! Happens every time
  9. Ya, breaking the law is not wise, even if the law is ignorant like NYS hunting age laws. This would have probably been a perfectly legal hunt in other states like PA.
  10. buzz is all they have had for decades. buzz wins nothing
  11. Rex is not the best coach they could have gotten, but is the best coach they have had since Levy, not that it really matters. The Bills are such a dysfunctional franchise that it doesn't really matter much other than Ryan is already used to dysfunction in NY that it should be a good fit....they might even make the playo. ffs next year! lol
  12. Plus, the only thing german about the 30-06 is that it killed alot of those dam Nazis
  13. nonsense. Thats like saying if it wasnt for the German bratwurst, we would never of had Oscar Meyer hotdogs,
  14. Nonsense. Does not outshine any of those calibers.
  15. You communist bullet defenders crack me up. Really? When you can own a bullet to be proud of. 270, 308, 06...you really think the communist millimeter bullet is something to wear with honor???...is this a NY thing?.
  16. LOL, ya, you are so right....and probably why so many people are defending the Soviet bullet.
  17. Reading through all the posts and this is a good conversation. It leads me to the conclusion is why? What traumatic event is causing the AR proposals? Nothing that I can see and I believe this whole AR nonsense is more about nicer racks to the taxidermist than it is harvesting older deer.
  18. Poppy, the question was if the bullet "Was any good for deer....not "does anyone use it for deer"....well hell a .22lr will kill a deer if placed right, but I was making the point of why anyone would want that communist junk!? I mean really, who goes into a sportsmen store and says, "I think I'm going to try the 7.62x39 to hunt deer!" Really? Ok, I suppose. American is about free will and choice so have at it, but I'm concerned about the character of .....
  19. 458 Win Mag is a fine All-American bullet. Plus the Czech's never wanted to be behind the Soviet curtain, so it's all good
  20. 458 Win Mag. Now that is an honest red blooded American bullet! Plus the Czech's never want
  21. CZ is now made in a NATO ally country I have a CZ cricket .22lr for my my kids and its great!
  22. LOL, Im amazed at the thin skin from too many regarding the Soviet bullet. Stunned actually. I thought most red blooded Americans would simply reject communist bullets based on principle alone!, but then again, my 30 years in the US Army has left me a little biased I suppose. I will admit, based on my military experience, the AK 47, though horribly not accurate, is a great reliable weapon that will fire regardless of its condition and how dirty it might be, unlike the AR15 family, but based on principle....I just couldn't sleep well at night, carrying any weapon or clip/mag with Soviet ammo...for any purpose, much less chasing our great American North American Whitetail. Sorry, but it's a matter of Patriotic principle for me, not the ability to kill. Joe
