Florida will have an average temp of 100 soon or be underwater!
It's supposed to be 60 on Christmas Day here jeesh!
It should be an easy year for the deer though which is good! I just wished I hadn't put up the boat for the winter!
No place is perfect, temp wise yes, being underwater not so good considering I don't know how to swim lol

Under no circumstances can one shoot at someone who is fleeing, just the act of leaving the scene renders any claim of self defense moot. This woman's actions are indefensible.

If its too warm for hunting that's fine with me, I'd rather go fishing instead (which is exactly what I did for a few hours today)

I hunt a zone that rifles are legal. First few days I heard lots of 3,4,5 volleys I'll hear the same thing during ML season as well. I bet on the deer every time when I hear them. Only going to guess but thinking a lot of accidental shootings occur during drives , people trespassing or simply put : people who are too stupid with no common sense that shouldn't own a firearm. When purchasing a firearm the buyer should have to pass a common sense test before the backround check. I like to think that nobody is tresspassing where I hunt but that's an assumption that could get one into trouble. Be safe out there people
A restriction on who may purchase gun, now you're starting to sound like me. After posing such a thought you better tear up your NRA membership cause thoughts like yours will get you thrown out lol.

I would bet VJP that even while sleeping my IQ far succeeds his. Since when does ones dislikes equate to the level of ones IQ? I imagine that besides being a product of in-breeding he has also suffered some sort of traumatic brain injury because no person in their right mind would ever argue against any law that would result in making it harder for the sworn enemies of their country to acquire arms to kill their fellow citizens.

Does anyone have any experience with Stevens shotguns? I am thinking of having Mrs Redneck getting one for me and my daughter for Christmas and from what I have read I see they are rated quite nicely for their price range. Can any one add their own experience with one?

Most of you speak of how evil the Democrats are and how they are going about ruining the country yet just today the Republican party, the party who wants everyone who will listen to their Fox News broadcasted nonsense about how they will do whatever it takes to protect America from terrorists refused to even allow discussion on a bill that would keep people listed on government watch lists from purchasing guns. Now tell me who is the real danger to America?

No Snow or Cold Weather GREAT! Who wants to sit out in the cold, freezing, waiting for a deer to walk by, not me, I hunt but would rather fish instead on a 90 degree sunny day then hunt in frigid temperatures.

That would mean at least one car had at least 3 people in it. Very seldom do I see that many hunters in one vehicle.

I'd imagine with almost no DMPs handed out for Sterling, not many people are hunting there. I didn't hunt Sterling this year for that reason.
We counted 8 dashboard hunter permits on the 3 cars parked at trailhead when we left this morning

Hunted the Long Trail area of Sterling Forest this morning and saw and heard absolutely nothing, is anyone else having any luck there this season?
