    Good luck to all ! I have the same feelings as Grampy about this week but my best day has been Veterans Day. FWIW I was driving to my place last night @ 2215 hrs. and about 5 miles from my house I saw the largest buck I have ever seen alive up here (4-0) . He was standing in the ditch as I stopped to look at him I counted 13 points. He was not bothered by me at all , and went up the bank into a pasture nose down trailing.     I have a Ruger 44 auto. Have shot several deer with it. All one shot kills but placement was good on all deer. I like the 44 magnum for deer at closer ranges . It’s up to the type of hunting you do. I shot one deer with a borrowed 243 when I was a kid . Both can and will kill a whitetail deer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    So far three bucks spotted , spike lulled around me for a few minutes. A big shooter 8 nose to ground came out of cow pasture and headed away from me . Lastly a 5 pt that wanted me to shoot but I passed .Hopefully for a bigger boy. Looks like the seeking phase is on by me at least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My son shot a 7 pt this morning 0730 hrs. Had a button come in walked by his stand , then trotted away. 5 minutes later in walks this buck shot him through the lungs at 25 yards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
