verizon has better coverage. I have ATT and wish I had verizon, my wife always has service before or longer than me when we are in the woods/ traveling. I stay with ATT due to being grandfathered in to an awesome plan.

I walk my dog a lot at three rivers, I have heard a lot of people hunt here during deer season, same during turkey season? I'm looking to check out some new places this season.

Spooked one walking in. I have seen a deer every time out for afternoon hunt, not one in morning. Red squirrels driving me crazy.

Hunting birds is something I have wanted to give a try. I have a Mossberg 835 with an X-Full choke for turkey hunting. Would I be able to use this gun for duck and geese? What about pheasants? Thanks for any input.

Id think you cant shoot. Last year some guys got in trouble for shooting elk that had escaped off a preserve because theres no season or tag. Theres no season or tag for fallow deer so Id imagine same thing.

I'm looking for my first deer with a bow after 3 seasons. I have a stand on the corner of 2 intersecting trails. I have a trail camera set up to take pictures down the trail in front of my stand. I have consistently gotten photos of deer coming each way down each trail at all times of day. I'm not sure how I should be factoring the wind and my approach for opening day because they come from all directions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

WNY - yea I didn't like go stand next to them but they were around my height I'm 6'1-2. Fishin - I was up in Franklin county near loon lake.

The top of the rub was a little over 6 feet, I've never seen a rub from a deer that high, but I'd like to see whatever made it.

I was way up in the adirondacks over the weekend and came across some trees that looked like they were rubbed up. They were real high in the tree and I was wondering if these were from a moose? I know that there are moose in the area, anyone know?

Hey everyone, I am looking into boots for next years season, and two pairs have caught my eye. One is the LaCrosse Alpha SST 2000 gram thinsulate rubber boots. A few of the reviews said they were great, a few said bulky and tough to walk in. Another pair I had been looking at are the Irish Setter Swamp Ghost which are only 1000g, and also rubber. These have mostly positive reviews, and say they are good for keeping warm, but my concern is the 1000g isn't enough. I have a pair of Field and Stream boots that are 1000g, not rubber and that are old, they're good for walking but my feet get cold when I'm in the stand if the temp is in the low 30s and under. My socks are great I know that it is the boots. I am willing to spend the money on a good pair that keep warm, so does anyone have the boots listed above/ or any suggestions on boots/ advice? Thanks.
