  1. No, these are zoomed in too, hard to tell if legal. Great day though i am only confident out to 20-25 yards, sucks, but dont want to wound an animal
  2. I always enjoy the moose posts, appreciate you sharing this.
  3. 3M has daytime buck movement now, big rubs popping up, a small 10, a nice 8, and a few others spotted yesterday.
  4. I will be sure to let you know, whichever way I decide, thanks again. Lol
  5. Thank you, I will take a look, I appreciate that.
  6. I agree as well, apparently I should have wrote “scent reduction bag” but did not think I had to be so precise, lol. I might just toss a couple small pine twigs in with my clothes at this point.
  7. why not give valuable input to me if you are chiming in? besides recommending I be a slob, and throw my crap in a corner, and let my skanky cat sleep on it....I understood your point with it, I get it, you dont worry about scent. Fine, but I am asking for advice from others to see if I am on the right track basically. Those who do use these scent bags are those who I have already looked up to for their hunting harvests. I am in an AR zone, with no doe tags so I am not looking for any deer to shoot. If thats a stupid question, then so be it, because thats how I am taking it from your comic pic. Every situation is different....
  8. Agreed. See my boss says the same, always have some scent, cannot eliminate completely....however, his opinion is if you can eliminate scent enough, maybe you can get that smart old buck within shooting distance, or within your eye sight.....where as maybe you might get him to smell you without you ever realizing he was there. Hope I explained that correctly. I value his opinion like you guys, thats why I am mentioning him
  9. Thank you Rob. Honestly, I don’t get winded really, but all kidding aside I don’t see deer often though...I wonder if my sightings would improve. My mind is determined this year lol. I am not looking to just throw money away, but this might be worth it. I agree, these bags are not too too pricey compared to weapons, stands, etc.
  10. Thanks Moog, appreciate the input. I do not have expensive hunting clothes. I just layer up, and use under armour base layers, with $99 insulated coveralls. I don’t want to destroy the clothes, but if these ozone bags can help here, and there, while storing in an unscented clear plastic bag, I wonder if it will benefit me.
  11. Well I appreciate the info regardless, I forgot to mention that I do store my cover-alls, and hats/glove in a clear unscented plastic garbage bag after being cleaned. I don't have a covered porch, or garage yet, do have a clean dehumidified basement without must, but feel thats no good to hang the clothes in.
  12. Yes sir, sorry about that. The ozone type bags you place clothing in to cut down on the left over scent.
  13. Do any of you use these things? i understand that you should hunt the correct wind accordingly, etc. However, I feel like no matter how much I wash my hunting clothes in scent free soap, and air them outside...they just always have some distinct scent to them. I hunt areas that are like mini big woods if that makes sense, and I wonder if scent control is something I need to further improve on since people are not too too common.... Honestly, I have tried the fluffy stuff you let flow down wind, and puffers, but it just seems as though the wind is always changing, and spiraling...I am obviously no pro, so I need input, something has to change, unashamed to say I am a bit overwhelmed with it. My boss uses a scent eliminating plug in the wall type bag, he is a believer in scent control, and playing the wind accordingly, he does harvest big bucks each year, and believes in these bags. anyone uses these bags? Are they BS in your opinion? thanks all
  14. Happy happy happy happy birthday birthday birthday birthday
  15. Finally out in a tree for my first sit. I am up at our cabin in the Adirondacks, and very happy to see the nice 9 pointer on cam from 2 yrs ago. If its not him, he has a twin. Have a bobcat on cam too, couple bear, and a fisher. Good luck folks...
  16. Only if the fur is removed prior.
  17. Wow thank you so much! i truly enjoy talking about this tech, glad you enjoyed it.
  18. Yes sir! It’s the little things in life sometimes...thanks
