    My point is there is no way to no for sure if the bullet is going to hit a branch on the way to your target . Since the bullet is not traveling in a perfect straight line also the magnification distorts what you are seeing. It all depends

    I did not get in to specifics anyway just that theRe is a difference between what you see in your scope or iron sites and the path of any bullet or slug which really I was talking about because that is what I have been using lattly btw slugs not as affected by hitting little branches as really fast moving little bullets are Did I say something wrong again?

    I think he thinks he is shooting a lazer gun bullets drop as soon as they leave the Barrel does not matter how fast they are going .

    You look through your scope your not going to see the branch above it or even if you do you and aim your crosshairs lower and think that if you aim below the branch your not going to hit that branch chances are you will be wrong

    My shotgun is what I was talking about first off and the slugs drop 8 inches at 75 yards if I'm not mistake when you look in a scope or iron sites you are aiming at where the bullet is going to hit is different then the path of a bullet I will post a picture hard to explain in words

    Where did you get that idea from bullets travel in a curve the actual path of the bullet is different then what your scope or even iron sites see just because you look in a scope and it looks free of branches does not me your bullet which is traveling in a curve will not hit a branch .

    What are the rates like a saw lowest on the internet 1.75 min is that about right pretty much ? You can rent them for under $50 a week . Is that what you guys did ?

    Actually they show bow on the signs gun and bow that one is different that's not the one from putnam that is off the dep Web site the one of the bow only is from Westchester that I actually took with my camera

    For deer with in 100 yards I think iron sites work fine if you don't want to or can't mont a scope it's holding steady enough that you have to worry about the sites not the problem. Getting the shakes when that big buck comes out is what's going to make you miss .

    ok what ever you say I guess those signs are just there for looks lol maybe that's true for private land . But all the public lands have those bow only signs And they specifically say other purposes prohibited on them. when I see a dep guy around I'm going to ask . Not that I don't trust you
