http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/9191.html This is the official list of classes. It is updated very often, so if a class appears you will know well ahead of time. Chances are you'll have to wait till late summer/early fall. Most classes are held just before a season starts. Trapping for most animals ends in about a month or so.

What public land is good for waterfowl in Region 4, or 3? I am thinking about heading out when i can. Anyone have spots they like to hunt?
