I’ve been using soft baits for a while, and I think the Z-Viber Micros are a solid addition to the tackle box. I typically go with soft plastics for crappies and perch, but these work well as an alternative. The way they mimic small prey is great for triggering strikes. I like to switch between soft baits and the Z-Vibers, depending on the bite. It’s true, though—those pickeral will snag them sooner or later, so it’s good to have a backup.

After searching a few hunting blinds, i see the TideWe VisMaster 270°See-through hunting blind seemed to get good reviews. Anything else anyone wants to suggest? I've always been a fan of vertical corner windows and like the idea of silent slide windows. Not much of a fan of the DB blinds/window set up but could be convinced. We set our blinds up in August and remove at the end of our November rut hunt. I'm a bigger guy, 6' 270 and need all the room I can get.

Hi , I just returned from an amazing fishing trip in Slovenia, and I have to share my experience! I went huchen fishing on the Sava and Soca rivers, and it was phenomenal. The scenery is breathtaking, and the huchen are a real challenge—perfect for seasoned anglers. I highly recommend going with Huchen fishing Slovenia; they know the best spots and techniques for catching these elusive fish. If you're looking for a unique and thrilling fishing adventure, Slovenia is the place to be. Anyone else had a great huchen fishing trip there?

I've used them for almost 3 years and really liked them. Now i'm using kalkal hunting boots. They're specifically work great for extreme cold and offer great traction on snow and ice. Plus, they're comfortable for all-day wear during hunt.

We have pretty much decided to buy a Polaris rzr to use around the place and for some irrigation stuff ( maybe some fun too ). We were thinking about getting a windshield, top, and rear window. All the polaris accessories rzr are pretty pricey and I was wondering if anyone had used some after market accessories? Any other thoughts on stuff that we should put on it? Thanks

Anyone built there own hot tent stove ?
alozcarney replied to Whitetailhobo's topic in Big Woods Hunting
I've been using a Pomoly tent stoves for the past few years and I love it! It's much more efficient than commercial stoves and it's much easier to pack. My stove is a folding stove, which means that it breaks down into small pieces that can easily be stored in my backpack. It's also very lightweight, which is important when I'm backpacking long distances. -
Hi, I was pretty gun-ho on a Honda 2200eui generator but.....I am now looking at portable solar generators such as the Jackery 1500 or Bougerv with (3) 200w panels. (we have a 550 so roof top is not feasible) I do not know much about them with the exception of 20 hours of internet reviews. Does anyone have much expierence and able to provide insight on performace.

New Binocular Suggestions
alozcarney replied to BizCT's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
I've researched binoculars in this price range a lot. If I were to buy one, I would buy the night vission. One thing the Viper has that most other binoculars at that price don't is a locking diopter. Here is a review of the night vission you might find interesting. -
There are a few friends/acquaintances of mine who are interested in hunting, and they always ask what is the best hunting tools. I was reminded of the days when I first started hunting and bought the tools that I could afford, but ended up spending more money over the years than if I had saved up and bought better quality tools at the beginning. I would like to see your list based on the following. How would you tell your younger self or a new hunter who has a finite amount of money and is just getting started what are the top 5 essential items to concentrate on? Order of the list indicates where you would spend your money, most on #1, etc. The amount I want to set is not based on a dollar amount since everyone's budget and financial situation differs. Here’s mine: 1 - Optics (for this purposes binos and gun scope, spotter a separate item) 2- Frame pack - at least for where I hunt now 3- Boot 4 - Range Finder 5- Rifle (does not include scope)

New Boot Recommendations
alozcarney replied to Splitear's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
HUNTSHIELD Men’s Neoprene would be worth a look. I’ve had these HUNTSHIELD boots for about two months. Which i got recommended from this source. I’ve worn them on several deer hunting trips in some pretty rough mountainous county. The boots fit nice and snug, no slipping of my feet in the boot when side-hilling. -
