does anyone use Humistart in there fields? ...it is a fertilizer that contains 20% calcium...and a few other trace minerals........I'm waiting for the ground to dry to spread that and the Milorganite on a few spots....

no one huh...I'm surprised it helps with PH but that added calcium is utilized through the plants to strengthen bone for fawn and adults both...the shells in game birds eggs.....also other minerals to increase muscle mass...it's seaweed based...not too expensive either...me being "thrifty"

I've actually been using it for a few years...and it works pretty well and I have to say we have bigger racked bucks around and our turkeys have had excellent hatches...now I can't say for sure that that calcium increased shell strength thus egg survivability...but we've also have had increased pheasant sitings...who knows....
