PostedBoys Gallego
I decided to cook my first full Turkey in the oven today. It was a jake I took this past Spring. It actually came out really great! I finally was able to get that nice brown skin over the bird that I always wanted to. Usually my dad makes the birds. I just followed the method by this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaKOLGIcMGE&list=PL3D46F9F194CCC888&index=2&feature=plpp_video He has some other great videos on cooking turkey. Don't just use the breasts! (turkey breasts) Nothing like enjoying what you worked so hard to hunt.

virgil
I just cooked up a breast from my first ever turkey from this past spring yesterday. Couldn't believe how good it was. Barely any different from any other turkey breast I've ever tasted.
