Pheasant Hunting Club on Long Island

Last year I joined a hunting club on Long Island called Birds Unlimited. They have 2 hunting fields just off the LIE at exit 69 in Manorville. It's a nice group of guys, dedicated to the enjoyment of dog training and upland bird hunting. There is a clubhouse and some great property for pheasant hunting. My german shorthaired pointer, Wyatt and I hunted there almost every weekend in the fall and winter. Good guys and good times. I just received a call from the club president that this year they have invested a lot of time and money into habitat improvement. If anyone is interested in bird hunting, I would suggest giving it a try. It works out to be less money than drive upstate or to PA to hunt pheasant preserves. Here is a link to the club.
