Wooh... the wind will get us now lol...so not many trees and at least 2 cutters...thinking the middle to end of next week...That should be just right....enough buck disturbance to move them on us and seeing we surround the property front back and one side...I'm happy....lots of new tops to lay in when things settle so they will be in that section instead of the leased property on the other side of us where the cut corn is and this logged property has just one older hunter on it...relaxed deer...pretty good timing on all this...... this year should be interesting fall

Thanks Eddie..actually today it worked out great...the commotion the loggers made gave me the perfect opportunity it get the DR out on all the trails in that area... and to stock up my blind with water and snacks...plastic Koolaid containers are great for the snacks...and how every thing is set while the deer are off across the street ....Hair cut for hunting just done... so now off to clean the chicken coop and get it winterized...yep they are helping with my being behind schedule...lol

Holy cow...two cutters two skidders and only 12 acres and these guys are still going strong dropping trees.......5 days now...they took the weekend off....I can see across the valley and straight through the other side of his property now....not much left...the skidder is hooking up to 3..... 40ft logs at a time and just tearing up the woods dragging them out to the logging roads ...most small trees are now knocked down.......Well he'll have a far ways to see in five years when the tops have rotted....I do hope he got a good price

Up the access road at camp theres some logging going on. It's not super loud but very noticable. I think activity will go on at least a bit while Bow season is open. I'm actually hoping in the near future this opens up some bedding areas in the neighborhood and jazz for Turkeys.
