Was on the tractor at 2pm ...going to put in the steel fence poles for getting first section of fence up..and kicked out a herd of deer...2 doe and a fawn ran right at me and veered into our woods and a nice wide 6pt buck just stood between the wooded fence post trying to figure out which way to go...first buck of the whole year spotted...Now I'm stoked...Sore back but got 10 steel posts pounded in and 8 more to go...next time that buck will follow the girls in to our wood lot if spooked...Hitting those QH heavy...during the day...good to know...

We have yet another neighbor 1/4 mile from this area and right next to another area logging now...hate to say it...well not really...but I hope they log everyone's oaks....ssshhh....wink wink...lol

Nice! I've seen an 8pt and few wide 6's on camera in my area. I'm beyond stoked!

not bad! had a nice 6 point walk right past me behind the inlaws house out east... i just stood there and watched as he walked by at 30 yards with 5 other doe...
