growalot
Have a video but it would make you dizzy...on ladder...bow on a hook and I'm latching the shooting house door...only 8ft up...when over my shoulder I see 4 bodies run in.... 2 doe and 2 fawn and they stop dead in front of blind...6:15pm...hanging on with one hand I get video cam out of pocket and case and try filming as I descend the ladder...rungs killing my feet...... wind howling...and I'm afraid more deer will show ...took these two captures from video...I finally got down and by 6:20 they started moving off...got down wind and knew some thing was up...just trotted away... Had a spike and 4 pt cruise past... headed up hill around 4:30...This a.m. I was at a middle woods set up and had a doe and fawn 100yrds out...walk under two of my other stands...good day
oneidacountyhunter
Isn't that how it usually happens LOL. Still a nice encounter. If you were ready would you have taken one of the doe??
growalot
No I'm on my way out now looking for a couple of...and I quote a neighbor..."the doe would rival any 2 1/2 year old buck in size". They've been on the cams...those two doe were 1 1/2 and on the smaller size...good sized fawn though
