growalot
From a guy about cross bows....Mr. B. actually called and put him on the line...bad shoulder no more bow hunting....asked about the x-bow I bought...good chat....sounds to be a nice guy...looking to start out in muzzle season...may have more $$ than I...well probably just not as cheap as me...lol so I did warned him to look for a quiet safety...just in case they...OK no arguments...when they go in bow season...told him of shooting stick options and dampeners.... Hunted PA archery season with it and NY late ML/Bow season with it.
growalot
Still not thrilled...just because of the way DEC mucked up how ppl are certified..IMO...the ppl around me have now really started coming on board about watching each other and being more select on who they allow on them....That makes it better in my mind... BizCT
Certified for what? There are no special provisions for the use of crossbows for disabled hunters or for hunters 70 years old or older. Hunters with either temporary or permanent physical disabilities should refer to the Modified Longbow Authorization for information on use of specially equipped longbows or compound bows. Culvercreek hunt club
I think she means the self certification process as opposed to an additional class like the bowhunting.

Culvercreek hunt club
Make sure he still gets teh self certificatino though. I don't think they are yet recognizing the Bow course as fulfilling the requirement.
