Mr B just pulls in and says WOW...bet you didn't see that huge buck I just kicked up behind the house when I pulled in....He came out of our woods and run like he!! across the field...Oh ya and there's a bunch of deer in the field below...lol...I don't know what they are eating...they have all the plots looking like putting greens...

I raked trails all day and had just left the field down there...and planned on mowing to have a quiet walk in to stands and blinds behind the house tomorrow midday.....I wanted one more day of drop on the big trails...trees are nearly bare now...Well he was headed south east so he may circle back around to the area I cleared...I'll be out in the morning

Thanks Law...he said the rack and his back were lit up by the sun and the rack was thick...they finished combining the corn field south of us today....no place to hide...that's why I did the secondary trails today...the ones I did a few days ago were covered in deer tracks...Dang shoulders and back are sore!...that's a lot of raking.

Good thing is.... the ground will dry and winds will pic up...for some reason the winds actually keep the trails pretty clean...gave me a chance to clear off all stand decks and the blind deck of leaves...I'll be set for the rut...
