acadian
I am planning to build an elevated box blind this spring, I would like some ideas for windows. I would rather use plexiglass!

landtracdeerhunter
I made some 3 " wide wood frames. I ship lapped the corners. Their 2' X 2' , plexiglass mounted in them. Used a circular saw and a chisel. They hinge at the top. After 5 years, still work great. Could snap u a pic, if interested. growalot
Mine are simple hinged on one blind...the hing is actually several layers of duct tape nailed to the frame and taped to top of plexi...the second I made frames from aluminum U molding...I nailed to the outside of walls ...so rain and snow wont blow in....added wooden handles to the top of plexi on the inside...have eye hooks to keep them up in a closed position....
