Back then, many individuals had more advanced firearms than those that were infringing on their rights. Some people had that technical advantage.

Do you believe the local, county, and state police should have automatic rifles, which individuals are not allowed to own?

to further the point we cannot own anything we want. Very few citizens own landmines, hand grenades, rocket launchers or fully automatic weapons.
