shawnhu
down, but not out.spent wednesday at the range to sight in my coyote rig. what a great day took about 30 shots then pfffffft, dragon claw just quits for the day. she can take on air & hold pressure but it just won't fire the projectile. i'm still trying to figure out what went wrong. of course, the weather improved once the gun quit working Ginoe, what cal. is that dragon claw? I'm guessing the valve froze from the cold weather.
HuntOrBeHunted
Good luck fella's. I have a heavy snow alert in my area so I want to get out in the snow and hunt some yotes. I'll be out tomorrow.

ginoe
Ginoe, what cal. is that dragon claw? I'm guessing the valve froze from the cold weather. she's a .50cal & your suspicions are correct it was about 36-46f degrees that day. the next day I dry fired the remaining air (by the way, manual says that's how to degas) & it seemed to function normally. I filled it to 3k psi & shot a round ball into a stack of 50 old magazines/catalogs with an iron skillet behind from 5yds. Went throught about 15 of them. Seems like all is well & I'm happy about that but now it stinks that I can only use her when it 50f+ degrees out.
shawnhu
No biggie, just make sure you use as dry a gas as possible in the future to reduce moisture. I'd you can, degas totally and open the reservoir and let the moisture dry up. Then seal everything back up and slowly charge her up from a dry source. You should have no problems for a while, even under 32 degree weather.
