Looking for Goose hunting Land in Southern zone 2/23-3/10

Looking for private property to hunt canada geese in the southern zone of new york. The season dates are 2/23/13 to 3/10/13. Willing to hunt with land owner or group. We have all our own stuff. All hunts that we are apart of will be filmed. Also, looking for information on any public land or water in the southern zone. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Really ???????? You have all your own gear, have a film crew, so I don't think you are "Rookies". You know the drill. Seat time in the old pickup. You'll find a place.

Westchester county golf courses. They kill them in bunches n feed them to homeless.

Did some seat time the other day half hour south of cayuga lake. Seen 3 birds. Waste of gas. And no rookies here. Just started big with filming more recently

cayuga lake has always allowed hunting near the town of king ferry.

During the southern zone late season? I dont think that is in the zone

Made an hour trip north to do some scouting in the Southern NY zone Thursday. A lot of birds around. Seen approx. if not more than 3000 in a 15 mile area. Plenty of birds 30 min. due south of Cayuga. And no Kings Ferry is not in south zone.

I never know what you guys consider the southern zone....we think of it as Hornell and south always lots of birds at Kanakadea(sp)

Where you in the Spencer, Van Etten area?

Whitney point or anywhere on the susquehanna river is usually loaded. Saw a flock of about 30 the other day.

Approx. 10-15 miles south of Spencer, Van Etton area. Just travel down 96 or 34 you will find them.

Stewart State Land might be a good option. There are ponds scattered throughout that area.
