Lewiston celebrates one of its natural resources; the Smelt!  The Niagara River Anglers batter and fry hundreds of pounds of smelt on the Lewiston Waterfront (115 N. Water Street, Lewiston NY) with the Silo Restaurant serving more to eat and drink.  Plenty of free smelt and live music keep the crowds coming!
