The NYSDEC has yet to decide whether to allow drilling for gas by the methods permitted in Pa. plus numerous lawsuits have been filed in NY against allowing such drilling and remain undecided. Anyone have any thoughts.

It probably will inevitably happen, regardless of public input.

I'm not too thrilled about defacing forestry lands that were purchased to be protected.
