sweet old bill
I suggest you get the state map for state hunting areas. I have hunted for years the area in the town of North Pharsalia NY, two different areas in the town both over 7000 acres each. I would go into the one that is off of route 23 on One eye road. No HA ha that the name. It has a mixed bag of pine, hard woods and several areas have a lot of old apple trees. I would not see a hunter in the bow season, most days, if I did it, it would be a bird hunter.
