Bummer of a day for me

I drove to Geneseo this morning and was in a treestand by 6:20 . Saw a fox at 7:37 . I could hear the dogs barking at the kennels over around Avon road . I started to get a stiff neck and my right shoulder had tightened up . Thought I would shoot one of my target tips . Aimed at a leaf about 18 yards away . It was all I could do to pull the bow back but I put a hurtin' on that leaf !  :

Walked down the lane-way (hedgerow on each side ) to see if anything might be bedded down . Saw 6 or 7 turkeys way down at the other end . They disappeared quick . Checked out the pond field . It was super wet . Went back to the stand and left at noon . The wind had been blowing in my face all morning and it was a bit nippy .

Plans for tomorrow are to hunt South Bristol in the am with my oldest son .............
