TheTruth2
So let week I bought a trophy ridge drive single pin adjustable sight. Unlike hha's optimizer, you have to mark your own yardage. I love the sight I've never shot better. What do you guys recommend for making the markings?
thphm
A few of the plastic containers with the pop out felt wick, they come in different colors and you can wet the wick with whatever you wish. For practice I gust have 1 pin and just shoot at 20 yards.I do not hunt open feilds, just wooded areas so any thing beyond that , is a wasted shot to me. jr.deerslayer
I simply used permanent marker on my trophy ridge when i had it. Now with my ascent I use a label maker that's sticker happen to fit perfect on the sight. I like knowing exact yardages and finding a computer generated tape that read perfect from 20 to 70 yards proved difficult so I just made my own. thphm
The thing I use to measure a distance is my Grandfathers 100 foot Starret tape measure. after all these years it still is right on. Hint check out your GPS and thoes other electronic distance checkers. Some have a + or minus 10 percent variance.
