i do most of my fishing in the catskills or up in sullivan county. just got some fly fishing gear and want to try it out. anybody willing to join up?

Suggestion:  If you are new to fly fishing, try the Beaverkill in Roscoe...upstream of the Junction Pool.  The water in the Rockland area is smaller/friendlier...with some nice trout.  Good luck!

I am just getting into fly fishing myself. My parent just built a house on the salmon river in Malone and we have been having no luck catching them with spinning gear for the last couple year and have seen the fly fisherman pull out quite a few so we switched our technique. My father had caught a couple trout but I haven't had any luck yet.
