Catskill Hunter
This is the harvest moon, That means the next one is the rutting moon right Oct. 18, 7:38 p.m. EDT —Full Hunters' Moon: With the leaves falling and the deer fattened, it's now time to hunt. Since the fields have been reaped, hunters can ride over the stubble, and can more easily see the fox, as well as other animals, which can be caught for a thanksgiving banquet after the harvest.

nyslowhand
If you are trying to correlate the literal definitions of the Harvest & Hunter's moon to Charlie Alsheimer's rutting moon, they are different. Literal definition of Hunter's moon is the next full moon after the full moon that is closest to the fall equinox. Alsheimer refers to his rutting moon as the next full moon that follows the full moon that occurs after the fall equinox. So Alsheimer's rutting moon for 2013 is Nov 17th. This is another topic, but IMHO neither have an effect on the actual rutting activity.
WhitetailAddict11
IMO scouting, using prior season(s) knowledge, and running SD card style cameras is much more satisfying in our pursuit of a good looking NY buck. Don't let technology ruin your ability to be a woodsman. I get the whole less contamination deal and having the ability to leave an area unpressured, as well as the "live eye" for trespassers, so to speak. However, I personally can't shake the idea that it's a bit of cheating to have picture confirmation within two mins of said picture being taken. A spot you may not have hunted because you were "marinating" the camera and wanted to give it time before checking it to hunt that spot the next day, had a buck walk by your stand at daylight and then again in the evening 3 days prior, which would have been a missed opportunity. With these wireless cams you would have gotten a text on your phone while you were taking a nap at home and been able to rush out to your stand that evening without really having done anything but look at your phone and then draw your bow. Hey jack , as uncle Si would say, I like all the fun new gadgets too, but some are just to over the top for hunting. Regardless of your decision, have fun with it.
