Do you plan on trying this season....I always have a few...but while cleaning the dog kennel today...It occured to me...as I spread the cedar chips...deer are attracted to cedar...bucks to rub and late winter feed....We have no cedar on our place but  there is cedar in the area...Well I bought 2 niger seeders for .99 at the farm store...I think I will fill one with cedar chips in cedar oil and one with pine soaked in anise oil...to see if they attract any deer.... I'll do this early season...less likely to spook things up for the rest of season if it doesn't work...what are your plans or ideas?...

Sounds good!  Well the ADK preseason hunt was canceled due to work, so much for using last years tags...  Going to check out a lease in Columbia county by New Lebanon.  Hoping to get my hunting partner of over 25 years his first deer...  I will be pushing deer next weekend in the hopes of getting him a shot...
