Suggestion for the site- a ' Public Lands' section

I saw this idea on another site.. Hunters post up info they have about specific parcels, to help others out, and possibly get together with other members who hunt the same areas..

Not sure how to do it though, a separate forum section, or incorporate it into the regional section on where the land is located.. I have some DEC regional map books around, and many paper pamphlets from DEC as well..

I know some are available online, but not all of them..

It's a good idea... Perhaps a public land section would be best, and give the most exposure.

I had thought about suggesting something like this.  The problem is the competitive nature of today's hunting.  People find a good spot and they protect it like their life depends on it.  I would love to see a section like that but personally I don't think it would work as intended.

I think that would be a great resource for people who dont hunt public land a lot. I know people will not let go of hot spots but maybe let people in on good spots.
