Cold Brook Hunts

Hello All:

 

Newly registered member here with some questions about Cold Brook Hunts, in Preble NY. I'm toying with the idea of going down there for a boar hunt and was looking for some feedback from some of you that may have been there. I live in Syracuse and would not need lodging there.

 

Doing some homework on the web, it appears that everyone that has been there has enjoyed the hunt. I was wondering how anyone that has been there from here liked it? Was it good enough that you would go back? Did they process your animal and was there an extra fee for that?

 

If you have been there, would you kindly let me know how it was?

I thought that they closed up shop a year or so ago

They are open for business. They were at the sportsman show last weekend. I did notice on their website they in longer had boar hunts listed. I did email them and was told that they still do the boar hunts.

I was a little concerned that the hunts were no longer listed on the website.

I too thought they were gone once hogs became no fly in NYS.....  Never heard anything bad about them.
