Alabama swamps

Does any one know if you can small game hunt at the Alabama swamps? I know you can hunt deer there but I'm in the mood to do some squirrel hunting tomorrow morning

I believe I just found the answer to that it looks like you can pretty much hunt anything there sorry guys I should have dug around on the web a little more before posting the question I was bein lazy lol

Also try the tonawanda wma it's a little bit more open but the main road through it is seasonal

No it's across the street basically from the swamps

Yea I ended up walking around the tonawanda wma seen some nice deer sign over there it was pretty windy I only seen one squirrel but I didn't really sit just kept walking around. Then I went across to the Alabama swamps and did some target shooting it was a very enjoyable day and not ashort drive ill definitely go there again.

Sorry to resurrect this thread after 6 months but what was your impression of the tonawanda?  I'm in Amherst and always looking for nearby places to check out.

I only walked it once after deer season but I.seen plenty of deer sign it looked like a pretty good spot and is a very've short drive from.Amherst
