InkedLilPiggy
I'm looking forward to my first spring turkey season this year. Actually my first time turkey hunting at all. I was wondering if it is worth heading into Fahnstock State Park? Any other suggestions for public land for spring turkey would be greatly appreciated. InkedLilPiggy
Thanks Liz. Any dep land in particular better than others. I was thinking about trying over around ninham mountain too. The dep land off of 301 was nice during deer season but I don't know how turkey is over there.
mbucks27
I don't think you can hunt fahnstock for turkey. You might want to confirm that before you head in there.

Napping in the woods
You can hunt Fahnstock for Turkey but you need to secure a permit from the park office on 301. Tons of sign, but that was during deer season, not sure what the winter did to them. Haven't any yet this spring.

There is quite a bit of huntable land at fahnstock. I am planning on heading in to scout a bit this week and would really appreciate a bit of a point in the right direction.
