Russian bore hunting

My 2 uncles and I plan on going out pig hunting in cortland area. My uncles friend shot 14 pigs in one day. Anybody have any info on this. We plan on hunting state land and farmers that he knows.

As far as I know, these are not Russian Boar, they are feral hogs. I could be wrong though.

I heard that the pigs got loose from a game preserve and that they multiplyed. This is just what I heard. I do know that there are feral hogs roaming around..
