Actually, they're targeting everyone who owns guns.  The law will allow ANYONE to call the cops and claim you are a threat to society, like a wife who lies to get a restraining order on her husband to get him thrown out of the house, and ALL of your guns will be taken from you without due process.

 

That's a real problem.  It is ripe for abuse by anti-gun organizations who could just get a list of gun owners and systematically call the cops on each one of them.  The gun owner wouldn't even know it was going on until SWAT kicks his door in.

 

Go back and read the article a little more closely and you will see what I mean.

Another example of the push to disarm you.  The Democrats hate your 2nd Amendment rights!

 

163 House Democrats – over 80% of the entire caucus – signed onto an open letter Thursday addressed to Republican House Speaker John Boehner demanding that he allow “a vote on substantive legislation to address gun violence.” The timing of the letter suggests that Democrats are prepared to make gun control in an issue in the 2014 midterm elections, despite evenly divided public opinion and staunch opposition from the powerful NRA.  (Note how the NRA is the only gun rights group they are worried about.  If you're not NRA, you're nothing to them)
