Savage Acctrigger Adjustments

I did my first two Accutrigger adjustments last night (pretty bad thats what I'm doing on a Friday night LOL).  Anyway my 300 Win 114 was pulling at 3 pounds 1 oz (factory set).  I couple of minutes later and a few turns counter clockwise with the little yellow tool Savage makes and the Lyman scale said its now pulling 1 pound 5 oz.  I dry fired it a few times, wow,..... what a difference.  My buddy brought over his 116 (7 mm Rem Mag).  Same story.  His factory setting was 2 pounds 15 oz.  After the same procedure and his bottomed out at 1 pound 9 oz.  I guess they come off the line set higher for safety reasons.  Very easy to adjust these and a for a big difference.

Yup, love those accutriggers. Just don't go too low or it will de-cock when you close the bolt.
