ISSC M22 pistol

Recommended Posts

Anyone own an ISSC M 22 pistol or ever shot one? I made a trip to the Unadilla gun show and flea market today. Was a really nice set up except for some of the pricing going on - Holy crapola $100 for a brick of .22 and saw a 333pk going for $45. Most of the gun prices seemed to have a little markup on them but what do you expect.

So back to the pistol. I took an old Ithaca .22 with me to try and trade or sell. Within 10 minutes or walking around I had 4 offers and took the last one. I had seen the M22 earlier so I went over and the guy took $30 off the price and included the tax so I bought it. Brand new, in the box and I now have my first pistol after I get my permit amended. I think I made a hasty decision as I read some reviews and this pistol could go either way. Just looking to see if anyone has any experience with these. Damn the internet and the wonderful ideas that cross your mind after reading what others have posted!!!

Wow 183 views and nadda. Now I am having buyers remorse. Got an FFL all lined up doing the transfer for only $20 so hopefully will get it this week. Guess I will create my own review and let everyone know how it works out.

never heard of the pistol..But this is why no one can find 22's. If people would stop buying from these self serving,  douche bag hoarder/resellers ,there would be plenty on store shelves.

100 packs of CCI were going for $8.00 at the show which is actually a better price than what the bricks were selling for. Anything over 8 cents a round for non CCI is a joke. When Gander gets it in stock, it is usually around 5 or 6 cents a round for the 525 packs. And I agree with you ants 100%. Do these dealers think we are dumb(some of us are I know) I told the lady asking $100 to make sure to leave room in the truck to pack it back up. Would any of you pay 10 cents a round for Thunderbolt or Remington Golden ? There was also another brand in an Orange & White box selling for $80 per 1000 consistenly by all the sellers but never heard of them. Oh well.

Was at Gander Saturday and they had Remington 1400rds bucket for $129.99 so 9 cents a round. Little high there but cant find the smaller packs.

  • 2 weeks later...

Was at Gander yesterday and the had all kinds of .22 for sale. 525 packs going for $25+ tax. Most were selling for 5 to 6 cents a round.

Update on the pistol. I cleaned it up Thursday night. Finally got out around 5pm today to shoot it. I started with Remington golden bullets, 36gr :) hollow points. I put 60 rounds through it without any issues whatsoever. I then tried the federal bulk pack, 36gr8 :) bullets. First bullet fired and had a FTE. I had to pry it out with my keys. Second round fired and had another FTE. I emptied the magazine manually by hand and reloaded with the Remingtons. Fired all the dems with no issues.

Guess I have a 525 pack of .22lr to trade for some Remington golden bullets. Shot a total of 75 rounds before dinner. Will get out to put more through it tomorrow. Got some cleaning to do tonight though
